Meet Jacob Gillispie, Commercial Lines Account Manager
How long have you been in the industry & how did you get started?
I have been in insurance for just over two years. I think I got into insurance the same way as most people, either family or you knew someone else in the industry. For me, it was my dad who has been with an insurance carrier for over 20 years now.
Briefly describe what you do at CAL:
I’m an Account Manager so I’m responsible for the day to day of our partners renewals, coverage changes, & certificates.
Which CAL core value do you most identify with?
I identify the most with being a team player. I think we have a great environment here at CAL. I can reach out with any questions or situations I have & we work as a team to come to the best solution.
What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends doing anything! I like to golf with friends & we’re big fans of board games in our household.
What is your favorite or most desired vacation destination and why?
My favorite vacation spot is definitely San Diego. It’s hard to beat the weather & I love the atmosphere. I just wish my Chargers were still in town.
